VIECON has expanded its team in Sales and Event Operations by adding three experienced professionals. With international sales expertise and extensive event know-how, Jasmin Schroffenegger, Theresa Divotgey, and Paul Salinger are now making a significant contribution to continuing to provide clients with first-class support and the successful delivery of their events.

International Sales Expertise for Corporate Clients

Jasmin Schroffenegger

Jasmin Schroffenegger – Sales Manager Corporate International

Jasmin Schroffenegger joins VIECON’s international sales team, supporting corporate clients from global markets throughout the entire sales process. She began her career in operational hospitality and gained experience in South Tyrol, Munich, London, the USA, and Vienna, before moving into international sales roles within the Hilton Vienna Cluster, where she most recently managed markets including the USA, Canada, and South America.

At VIECON, her focus lies on active new client acquisition, expanding existing business relationships, and developing tailor-made event solutions. She is particularly dedicated to building sustainable partnerships and strengthening VIECON’s positioning in the international market.

With her experience in international sales, intercultural competence, and strong understanding of individual client needs, she creates the foundation for long-term partnerships and successful events.

“What excites me most is the combination of strategic sales and personal interaction, as well as the opportunity to develop individual solutions for clients from a wide range of markets,” says Schroffenegger.

Reliable Event Support with a View for All Perspectives

Theresa Devotgey

Theresa Divotgey – Project Manager, Event Operations

Theresa Divotgey brings diverse experience from various areas of the event industry and adds valuable perspective to the Event Operations team. Her professional path has taken her from the corporate side to agencies and finally to the venue side, giving her a strong advantage in understanding and addressing the requirements of different stakeholders.

As a Project Manager at VIECON, she oversees events from initial planning to successful execution, acting as the central interface between clients, internal teams, and external partners. Her portfolio ranges from conferences in the banking and retail sectors to international congresses and seasonal events such as Christmas parties.

Her working style is defined by a solution-oriented approach in dynamic project situations. Especially when requirements change or unexpected challenges arise, Theresa Divotgey maintains an overview and develops alternative solutions.

Her personal motto sums up this mindset: “When nothing goes right, go left.”—a principle she consciously applies in her daily project work to always find the best possible solution for clients.

International Event Experience and Versatile Project Management

Paul Salinger

Paul Salinger – Project Manager, Event Operations

Paul Salinger also strengthens the Event Operations team, bringing with him exceptionally diverse international experience. His career includes roles in luxury hospitality, the cruise industry with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, and international trade fair sales.

In his role as Project Manager, he independently oversees the planning and execution of congresses, corporate events, and a wide variety of event formats. He serves as the main point of contact for clients as well as internal and external partners, supporting projects throughout their entire lifecycle. His current projects range from specialist congresses and industry events to trade fairs.

What particularly motivates Paul Salinger is the diversity of industries and people he engages with in his role. The opportunity to continuously explore new fields—from technology and research to a wide range of industries—is what makes the event sector so appealing to him.

His structured yet composed approach is also reflected in his personal philosophy:
“Focus on what you can influence. Make peace with what you cannot change.”—a guiding principle that helps him stay focused and work purposefully even in complex project situations.

Strengthening the Entire Customer Journey

With the expansion of its Corporate International Sales and Event Operations teams, VIECON continues to enhance its expertise across the entire customer journey. The close collaboration between sales and operations allows the company to meet individual requirements even more precisely and to support events holistically from start to finish.

The new team members, with their international experience, industry knowledge, and strong client focus, further strengthen VIECON’s position as a reliable partner for high-quality events in Vienna.
